Engineering Resilience for the Open Sea

I develop and stress-test Embedded Linux systems designed for the hostile realities of the maritime sector. From low-level bootloader hardening to immutable custom distributions, my focus is on operational reliability where technical failure becomes an operational risk.

Through my technical testbed in Brittany, I bridge the gap between robust maritime hardware and predictable software layers.

Core Focus:

  • Low-Level Bring-up: Hardening U-Boot and ensuring fail-safe boot sequences.
  • Custom Distributions: Building minimal, read-only images via Yocto and Buildroot.
  • Data Integrity: Robust NMEA 2000 pipelines and Signal K integration.

Detailed technical logs and R&D notes can be found in the Logbook.
